Spirituality & Fellowship

Co-Workers of Mother Teresa is a ministry geared to feeding the homeless. Co-Workers of Mother Teresa is an organization dedicated to feeding the homeless. It had its beginning with the Brothers of Charity in Los Angeles in 1989 under the leadership of Bill Fairchild and others to feed the homeless young men of Los Angeles. When the Brothers of Charity ceased their ministry in 2010, the Co-Workers began serving the clients at the Sylmar and Santa Clarita Emergency Winter Shelters. These shelters are open only from December 1 through March 15. During the rest of the year we support the Family Promise Operation of Santa Clarita.

Volunteers are needed to prepare the meals, transport the meals to the appropriate location, and additional persons are needed to help serve the meals.
