Religious Education Program
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church welcomes all children from grades 1 to 8 in our Religious Education Program. We are blessed to have loving, devoted Catechists to teach students on their faith journey. The program is designed to help children and their families recognize Christ in their life through everyday experiences, community events, worship, and prayer.
Throughout the eight years of Catholic education, the children will learn about God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Mary and the Saints, as well as the basics of Catholicism, out Catholic Traditions, Scripture and prayer. First and Second grade classes will prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Upon completing the eighth grade, the children will attend the Confirmation program to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
English classes are available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:15 pm or 5:45 to 7:00 pm. We also offer a Sacramental Preparation Program and a Home Study Program. You may contact the office of Religious Education for more information on these program requirements.
Faith Direct accepts credit and debit cards. Use the ticket for credit or debit.
If paying by check or cash, you may register online under the check or cash ticket. Then bring your payment to the office of Religious Education.
To complete the registration process, everyone will need:
- Each child’s Baptismal Certificate
- Parish ID Number (the number on your donation envelope)
