Rest In Peace

Funerals

I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believe in me, even if he died, will live.” (John 11:25)

“Indeed for your faithful, Lord, life is changed, not ended.” (from the Mass of the Resurrection)

Loved ones who have recently passed away

Please pray for these members of our parish community who have recently died, as well as for their families and friends who mourn them.

Making arrangements for the funeral of a loved one

Upon the death of a loved one, please call the OLPH Pastoral Center so that our Bereavement Ministry may assist you during this difficult time and schedule and plan services to entrust your loved one to God’s grace and mercy. We have a Bereavement Team who will assist you in making service arrangements. For services in English,  please contact:

Deacon Jay at the OLPH Pastoral Center at (661) 259-2276  Ext 673.

Pre-planning your own funeral

There is a great spiritual blessing that comes when people choose to engage in the process of making plans for their own funeral services. Doing so also eases the burden on family members at the time of death. If you are interested in this possibility, please contact one of the priests at (661) 259-2276.  They will put you in touch with the OLPH Bereavement Ministry to assist.
