Religious Education

"All your children shall be taught by the Lord; great shall be the peace of your children." (Isaiah 54:13)
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church welcomes all children from Grades 1 to 8 in our Religious Education Program. We are blessed to have loving, devoted Catechists to teach students on their faith journey. The program is designed to help children and their families recognize Christ in their lives through everyday experiences, community events, worship, and prayer. 

Throughout the eight years of Catholic education, the children will learn about God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Mary, and the Saints, as well as the basics of Catholicism, our Catholic traditions, Scripture, and prayer. First and Second Grade classes will prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Upon completing the Eighth Grade, the children will attend the Confirmation program in their freshman and sophomore years of high school, to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation. 
English classes are available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:15 pm or 5:45 to 7:00 pm. We also offer a Sacramental Preparation Program and a Home Study Program. You may contact the office of Religious Education for more information on these program requirements.

OSV accepts credit and debit cards. If paying by check or cash, you may register online under the check or cash ticket. Then bring your payment to the Religious Education Office. 

To complete the registration process, parents will need to provide:
1. their child's Baptismal Certificate
2. their Parish ID Number (the number on your donation envelope)
