EUCHARISTIC PILGRIMAGE
FRIDAY, JUNE 20, 2025, FROM 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
You are invited to join in this special Mass and celebration on Friday, June 20. All Attendees must be seated in the Mission Basilica or the Mission Garden not later than 1:00 pm. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Registration Open June 1st!Vacation Bible School (VBS) is back at OLPH from July 21-25, 2025. Hours are from 9am -12 Noon. We are recruiting a team for this wonderful event for our children.

(Continue... READ MORE) CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR EIGHT NEW PRIESTS!! On Saturday morning, May 31, Archbishop José Gomez ordained eight new priests for service of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The new priests are:
Father Allan P. Carodan Father Paul F. Collins Father Michael P. Croghan Father Joseph Anthony Cruz Father Johndy Gonzales Father Jorge Moncada Father Christian Morquecho Father Quoc Hong Thien Vo We thank God for these new priests, especially for Father Jorge who served his diaconate assignment here. Father Jorge will be celebrating Masses of Thanksgiving here at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Sunday, June 22, at 8:45 am and 12:15 pm. Please continue to pray for an increase of vocations to the priesthood and religious life and especially keep these new priests in your prayers. May God bless all these new servants of Christ! Daily Scripture Readings A great way to learn the Bible and incorporate it into your prayer is to set aside some time each day to reflect on the Scripture readings that are assigned to the daily liturgy. A simple way to do this is to go to the site https:// bible.usccb.org. This service is also available in Spanish at https://bible.usccb.org/es.
Once at the site, you have several options. You can click on the readings for the day and read the texts yourself. There is also a tab for the daily reading podcast in which those Scriptures are verbally proclaimed. Finally, there is a tab for a video, usually about two and a half minutes in length, which presents a variety of speakers offering brief reflections on the meaning of those Scriptures.
