Co-Workers of Mother Teresa

Co-Workers of Mother Teresa

"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."  (St. Teresa of Calcutta)
Co-Workers of Mother Teresa is a ministry geared towards feeding the homeless. It had its beginning with the Brothers of Charity in Los Angeles in 1989, feeding the homeless young men of Los Angeles. When the Brothers of Charity ceased their ministry in 2010, the Co-Workers began serving the clients at the Sylmar and Santa Clarita Emergency Winter Shelters. These shelters are only open from November 1 through April 1. During the rest of the year, we support the Family Promise Operation of Santa Clarita.

Volunteers are needed to prepare the meals, transport the meals to the appropriate location, and additional persons are needed to help serve the meals. You can click here to learn more about the Co-Workers of Mother Teresa.

Are you interested in volunteering with us? Please contact Deacon Dick Karl or call the parish office at (661) 259-2276.
